"This seven month old boy has opsoclonus due to a post-viral encephalitis. No evidence of a neuroblastoma was found. Large amplitude saccades intermittently carry the eyes back and forth in all directions. Trunkal ataxia and other signs of cerebellar dysfunction were found in this child. Most of the saccades are horizontal; however, some are vertical and oblique. Most saccades have straight trajectories, but some are curved."
