"Head thrusts are seen when this infant
with congenital ocular motor apraxia tries to look at horizontal
targets. The vestibular reflex produced by the head thrusts might
help to initiate a saccade or can the eyes to the target itself.
Vertical eye movements appear to be normal. With age the defect in
initiation of saccades decreases."
