Endpoint Nystagmus

"This young man has physiologic endpoint
nystagmus. Fixation is steady at 30 degrees. A small jerk nystagmus
is seen at 45 degrees. The amplitude is slightly larger in the
abducting eye. Restriction by orbital tissues probably limits the
amplitude of the nystagmus in the adducting eye resulting in the
slight dissociation seen in endpoint nystagmus."
